The City of Boston is the capital of Massachusetts and its largest city. Beyond that, Boston is one of the oldest cities in the United States, founded in 1630. For this reason, many historical events took place in Boston, e.g. the Boston Tea Party or The Boston Massacre. Today, Boston is an agile and multifaceted city with many interesting places and sights. Particularly recommended is a visit to The Old State House, the Museum of Fine Arts or Quincy Market. Sport enthusiasts  should visit a home game from the Boston Red Sox in Fenway Park or The Celtics in TD Gardens.

The climate in Boston is continental with maritime influences.  Summers are warm with average temperatures peak in the range 75 to 80 degrees Fahrenheit. Winters are cold and snowy, average high temperatures between 35 to 39 degrees Fahrenheit and average low temperatures between 19 to 24 degrees Fahrenheit.
